What would you do if there was no Internet? [closed]

If the International Network no longer functioned how would programmers cope? Would software development become an intractable problem?

So much development has been achieved because of our interconnectivity that we might not be able to go forward as a community, without it.

Is this the case, or might we become more productive due to the removal of a major distraction?

How would we cope if the the network went down?
